Our instructor and Turkish State Theater actress Meltem Keskin Bayur was invited to the radio program Arts Week TWPTown hosted by Jeanette Beauvoir. Check out the great conversation between theater artists from Turkey, Ghana and the US and the multicultural perspectives on Tennessee Williams and Shakespeare,
The performances were rehearsed early this year as the US-based theater director and acting teacher David Kaplan visited Bilkent University Theater Department along with actors from the US, and Marcel Meyer from South Africa. The artists gave Shakespeare workshops to our second years. The collaboration between Bilkent University and the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival resumed with the performance of Antony and Cleopatra in Provincetown at the festival which was dedicated to Shakespeare.
